How SoftCase treats your data

Stub policy for SoftCase by Neon Future. SoftCase is a personal notes and papers app — not an advertising product.

Where data lives

Notes, folders, and files you keep in SoftCase sync through your private iCloud (CloudKit) when you are signed in. SoftCase does not run a separate SoftCase account or SoftCase-hosted cloud of its own.

On-device processing

Features such as OCR on imported or scanned papers run on device where Apple frameworks allow. SoftCase does not sell your notes or papers, and does not use them to train third-party models.

Sharing

When you invite someone to a Shared folder, Apple’s iCloud share (CKShare) governs access for that folder only. You choose whom to invite and can manage the share from SoftCase.

Export & leave

You can export files and notes through the system share sheet when SoftCase offers it. Deleting SoftCase or turning off iCloud for the app follows Apple’s usual device and iCloud rules.
